Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 head green cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 jalapeño pepper, finely diced
  • 1 orange pepper, diced
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by slicing the chicken, onion, and orange pepper; mincing the garlic; dicing the jalapeño; and shredding the cabbage.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the chicken with salt and pepper; stir-fry until cooked through (5-7 minutes). Remove chicken and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add sliced onion and cook until softened (about 3 minutes). Stir in garlic and jalapeño; cook for another minute.
  4. Add shredded cabbage and diced orange pepper; pour in chicken stock, oyster sauce, and soy sauce. Stir well and cook for another 5-7 minutes until cabbage is tender-crisp.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet; mix everything thoroughly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
