- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 11×7 baking pan.
- In one bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside. In another bowl, cream together butter and sugars until fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract and cinnamon. Gradually blend in dry ingredients and fold in chopped apples.
- Pour batter into the pan and bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
- While baking, melt butter with brown sugar and cinnamon for the topping; stir in vanilla after removing from heat.
- Prepare the glaze by whisking melted butter, maple syrup, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until smooth.
- Once baked, pour topping over blondies, drizzle with glaze once slightly cooled, then let cool completely before slicing.
