  • 1 lb fresh white fish fillets (cod, tilapia, or haddock)
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 unit lemon zest
  • For Garlic Aioli: 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Rinse and pat dry the fish fillets. Cut into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  3. Coat each piece of fish in the flour mixture and set aside.
  4. Melt unsalted butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook fish bites in batches for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
  5. For the garlic aioli, mix mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  6. Serve fish bites garnished with parsley alongside the garlic aioli.
