  • 8 large croissants (cubed)
  • 4 cups mixed berries (raspberries, blackberries, blueberries)
  • 14 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Toast cubed croissants on a baking sheet for 7–10 minutes until golden.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs, half and half, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and salt; mix until combined.
  4. In a greased 9×13 dish, layer half of the toasted croissants, followed by half of the berries and half of the custard mixture. Repeat layers and press down gently. Refrigerate overnight.
  5. Bake covered for 30 minutes; uncover and bake an additional 15 minutes until set.
