  • 1 lb sirloin or flank steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 8 oz pasta shells
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme (or 1/2 tsp dried thyme)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then sear in a skillet with olive oil until browned; remove from pan.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter, sauté garlic and thyme until fragrant, then return the steak to the pan.
  4. Create a creamy sauce by adding chicken broth and heavy cream; simmer gently.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning until smooth.
  6. Combine the pasta with the sauce and fold in the steak bites; serve hot garnished with parsley.
