Instructions

  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla until blended.
  4. Gently mix the wet ingredients into the dry until just combined; avoid overmixing.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to parchment paper.
  7. Brush with melted butter while warm and sprinkle with a mixture of sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
