  • 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually combine this dry mixture with the wet ingredients until just mixed.
  4. Scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart. Make an indent in each cookie dough ball for caramel filling.
  5. Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden around the edges but soft in the middle. Let cool slightly before filling indents with caramel sauce.
