Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces bowtie pasta
  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook bowtie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken pieces with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until golden brown; remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté onions and garlic until soft. Stir in flour to create a roux, then gradually whisk in chicken broth, heavy cream, and cream cheese until smooth.
  4. Return chicken to skillet; stir in provolone, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses until melted. Add cooked pasta and toss gently to coat.
  5. Serve garnished with chopped parsley.
