Ingredients
- 500 g ground chicken
- 1 egg
- ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1½ cups milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, egg, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking tray.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and whisk in flour for about 1 minute. Gradually add milk while whisking until smooth. Stir in grated Parmesan until creamy.
- Transfer the chicken bombs to a casserole dish and pour the sauce over them. Broil for 3–5 minutes until bubbly.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or cauliflower purée.
