  • 500 g ground chicken
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1½ cups milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, egg, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking tray.
  4. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  5. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and whisk in flour for about 1 minute. Gradually add milk while whisking until smooth. Stir in grated Parmesan until creamy.
  6. Transfer the chicken bombs to a casserole dish and pour the sauce over them. Broil for 3–5 minutes until bubbly.
  7. Serve with mashed potatoes or cauliflower purée.
