- 6 chicken quarters
- ½ apple
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 inches ginger
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 stalks green onion
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp sweetener (sugar)
- 1 tsp pepper
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, sweetener, and pepper.
- Grate ginger and mince garlic; add them along with finely chopped green onion and diced apple to the marinade.
- Place chicken quarters in a ziplock bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal tightly and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Remove chicken from marinade and arrange in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for about 25 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
