Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 head broccoli florets
  • 13 ounces kielbasa turkey sausage, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes. Whisk until smooth. Reserve two-thirds of the sauce.
  2. Marinate shrimp in the remaining sauce for at least 20 minutes in a zip-top bag.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a skillet over medium heat; add broccoli and cook until tender-crisp (about 5 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, heat another tablespoon of olive oil; brown the turkey sausage for 4-5 minutes. Add shrimp (drained of excess marinade) and cook until pink (about 1-2 minutes per side).
  5. Pour reserved honey garlic sauce into the skillet; simmer for 3-5 minutes. Return broccoli to the skillet and toss gently.
  6. Serve warm over rice or as desired.
