  • 1/4 cup melted butter (60 ml)
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour (375 g)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  2. In another bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water with honey; let it sit until bubbly (5-10 minutes).
  3. Mix softened oats, melted butter, and honey into the yeast mixture.
  4. Gradually add flour, cinnamon, and salt until a shaggy dough forms.
  5. Knead on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth.
  6. Place in an oiled bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise until doubled (1-1.5 hours).
  7. Shape into a log, place in greased loaf pan, and let rise again (30-40 minutes).
  8. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
