Description

This rich, savory rice dish bakes in a buttery blend of beef broth and French onion soup, creating deep caramelized flavor with almost no effort. It’s fluffy, comforting, and makes an easy side dish that pairs beautifully with roasted meats or vegetables.

Ingredients

Scale

1/4 cups long grain rice, uncooked
1 (14.5 oz) can beef broth
1 (10.5 oz) can French onion soup
1 stick butter, cold
Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Lightly grease a medium baking dish.

Spread the uncooked rice evenly in the baking dish.

Pour the beef broth and French onion soup over the rice. Stir gently to distribute evenly.

Slice the cold butter into pats and place them evenly over the top.

Cover tightly with foil and bake for 25 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake an additional 20–25 minutes, or until the rice is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.

Fluff the rice with a fork, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm.
