Ingredients
- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 12 oz penne pasta
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic
- ¾ cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 oz cream cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp dried basil
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Cook penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and sauté sliced chicken until browned and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Reduce heat to low; stir in mozzarella, cheddar, Parmesan, and cream cheese until melted and smooth. Season with dried basil and Italian seasoning.
- Return cooked chicken to the skillet and combine with drained pasta until well-coated in sauce.
