  • ½ cup melted butter
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare two 9×5-inch loaf pans with nonstick spray.
  2. In one bowl, beat together cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Mix in one egg and vanilla extract, then stir in one tablespoon of flour until combined.
  3. In another bowl, mash bananas thoroughly. Add melted butter and both sugars; mix well. Beat in the two large eggs, sour cream, and additional vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking soda, and baking powder; incorporate into the banana mixture until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pans, dollop cream cheese mixture on top, then add remaining batter over it.
  6. Bake for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean with moist crumbs attached.
