- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1 1/4 cups buttermilk, room temperature
- 2/3 cup vegetable or canola oil
- 3 large eggs, room temperature
- 2 tsp vanilla extract

- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream, room temperature
- 1/2 tsp fine salt
- 3/4 cup salted peanuts, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp fine salt
- 7 cups powdered sugar
- 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream, room temperature
- 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream, room temperature
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
- 8 Mini Snickers bars
- 1/2 cup salted peanuts, chopped for the base of the cake
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare four 8-inch round cake pans with parchment paper and non-stick spray.
- In a bowl, sift together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk warm water, buttermilk, oil, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Gradually combine with dry ingredients.
- Divide batter among pans and bake for 22-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
- For the frosting: Cream butter and sugar until light; add cream gradually and mix in chopped peanuts.
- Assemble by layering cakes with frosting in between each layer.
- For ganache: Heat cream until boiling; pour over chocolate chips and stir until smooth.
- Pour ganache over the assembled cake and top with chopped Mini Snickers bars and peanuts as desired.
