- 3/4 cup melted butter
- 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup whole-rolled old-fashioned oats
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
- 35 caramel squares
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Add brown sugar and vanilla; whisk until smooth.
- Stir in flour, oats, baking soda, and optional salt until combined.
- Spread half of the mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, melt caramel squares with heavy cream in the microwave until smooth.
