  • ¼ cup rainbow sprinkles
  • 1 stick unsalted butter (for frosting)
  • 1.5-2 cups powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla (for frosting)
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk (for frosting)
  • Pinch salt (for frosting)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease mason jars lightly.
  2. In one bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, salt, and baking powder.
  3. In another bowl, cream together butter and sugar until fluffy; add egg whites one at a time.
  4. Mix in canola oil, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into the wet mixture; fold in rainbow sprinkles.
  6. Fill jars halfway with batter and place on a baking sheet; bake for about 15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. While cooling, prepare frosting by beating together butter and powdered sugar, adding vanilla and milk until creamy.
